Share a Word As we seek to sustain our work locally and to share our experience more widely we are inviting schools to take part in "Share a Word". The project is a fantastic way for the children to support the work of a local children's charity, Act 4, but also to make a direct difference to another child. We will be inviting children to write their own stories, which we will then look to share with disadvantaged children overseas. The funds raised by schools will also be used in part to buy books for children in other countries, giving them the opportunity to read and enjoy stories, something they may have never had the chance to do.
Children will be asked to bring in a donation, as well as their own story. The school can arrange a theme day or simply offer an own clothes day. The children will also be given information about the work of the charity to take home for their parents.
Act 4 has had such an exciting journey so far and we are looking forward to your support as we continue to equip more children to make a difference! Pope Paul helped us to raise money for stationary to Kidzone Orphanage in Kenya "The girls were really excited with the unique pencils and pencil cases. We highly appreciate your kind donation. The girls did some letters and drawings using the pens. They were all very happy to learn that children of Pope Paul are still thinking of them!" |
